Music is a funny thing sometimes… You can play it in the background letting it drown out your unwanted day to day, useless, white noise. You can play it quietly in the car as you commute to work, missing the subtleties too quiet to register on your car stereo. You can blast it at a party socializing with your red cup as it drones in the background ultimately ending up in the back of your mind. But sometimes you can play it at just the right volume, sit down next to your speaker and listen intently, not missing even beat, a flat high note, a crack of emotion in the singer’s voice, the hum of an amp about to be unleashed with the click of a pedal. Sometimes you can just listen… and it’s beautiful.
